Hey Frehies! I hope everyone had a great weekend and made use of the warm weather. The weekends are never long enough and we all eventually need to get back on our grind again! So let us help you power through this this week and onto the next weekend with some banging new tunes!

China Roses & Aletro – Spiritual

We are going to start this week off right here in our hometown of Adelaide with a new track from Adelaide rapper/vocalist China Roses and Aletro, who produces the Tune Of The Week segment for Fresh. While China Roses is on the rise as a local artist, Aletro has had a string of hits such as ‘Into Your Deams” (by Matiah) Aletro Remix (2017) and Figurines (2016). ‘Spiritual’ is a laid back electronic track that has a melodic beat which is supported by the soft vocals from China Roses, the tune is perfect for a warm Sunday arvo while you kick back with a beer in hand.

Chris Wilde Feat. Jonny Rose – Our Time

Information was scarce about these two artists; Chris Wilde is a male DJ from Italy while Jonny Rose is an American singer and that’s the extent of our knowledge. Even though information about the artist was hard to come by, their track ‘Our Time’ is a stand-alone banger, the tune is an epic house anthem that has a grand feel, the great dance track has a heavy drop which is cut with the melodic vocals of Jonny Rose. The track feels best if it was played in the main room of a club or at festival where you have room to get up and boogie!

Spenda C – Playing With Fire

Spenda C is Sydney DJ who isn’t short of surprises, with previous bangers already under his belt such as ‘Hula Hoop Feat. Keno’ (2017) and ‘Release Feat. Cult Shotta’ (2017) his new track ‘Playing With Fire” doesn’t disappoint. This appears to be the first release from the ‘Bone Collector’ album Spenda C has been teasing. The new track is a base thumping tune that has a unique mandolin build up before the first drop then the mandolin kicks in again before the second drop. The tune is a certified banger and we will be looking forward to that new album drop!

LO’99 Feat. Elizabeth Rose – From The Start

Sydney producer LO’99 teams up with fellow states-women and vocalist Elizabeth Rose to give us his new infectious house track ‘From the Start’. This comes off the announcement that he will be touring a string of secret shows in November with a special number to call for more information (1800 –LO99-LO). With previous big track such as ‘Fallen’ (2017) and ‘Take Me Back’ (2014) with Marshall F his new track ‘From the Start’ is sure to please fans of deep house. The track is a subtle happy deep house track, the groove and bouncy bassline coupled with the vocals by Elizabeth creates a track that is candy for your ears. It’s a great track to get the party going and get people in the mood so make sure that this track is on for the next Saturday night party.

Strict Face Feat. Sophiegrophy – Cobra Charm

We end this week’s new music like how we started back here in Adelaide. Adelaide DJ and host of Fresh’s Bassbin on Thursday night Strict teams up with female rapper Sophieography who hails from Melbourne. Strict Face is no stranger to the underground DJ scene with songs such as ‘Afterparty’ (2017) and ‘Murderer Feat. K Major’ (2016) already in his repertoire.  ‘Cobra Charm’ is Sa great representation of Strict Face’s new EP, ‘This Head’. The EP like the track takes elements from a range of different genre and inspirations to create uniquely sounding electronic music.
