It’s no secret that getting a job in Adelaide can be tough, but finding employment in a creative industry can be particularly difficult. But how can you develop your skills while also learning from the best?

Carclew is a South Australian organisation that offers young people, aged 18 to 29, the opportunity to develop their artistic skills, their passions and to unlock their potential. As part of Carclew’s programmes, a number of creative consultants, who have artistic skills of their own, help young people to try and achieve their goals, and ultimately transition into a creative career. With the programme finding success worldwide, young people in Adelaide are now benefitting.

So how can Carclew Creative Consultants develop your skills and ultimately launch a creative career? Wavelength sat down with Paul Mayers, Senior Manager for Social Enterprise at Carclew, to find out a bit more.
