These days it seems a lot of young people are moving away from Adelaide in search of work, but is it actually any better interstate?
Adelaide, maybe more so than any other city in Australia, is often rightly or wrongly labelled as somewhere really difficult to find work. There’s no doubt that many young people are moving interstate in pursuit of a job, to study or even just to build a different lifestyle generally, with over 3,200 South Australians aged 20-34 moving interstate in 2016.
But is heading interstate truly all it’s cracked up to be? Why do people make the move in the first place?
Wavelength sat down with Kat and Michael to have a chat about their decision to make the move from Adelaide.
