Tkay Maidza’s ‘Switch Tape’ tour is continuing around Australia following the eccentric rapper’s return from the American and British legs of her trip.

Maidza’s travels coincide with the release of her debut EP, which shares the name of the tour and includes hit track ‘Switch Lanes’.

‘Switch Lanes’ is a variation from the 18-year-old’s typical style, with her latest production deriving from a strong R&B influence.

Her 17-show schedule will wind through most major Australian locations, starting in Canberra in early November before ending in Western Australia two months later.

Maidza’s hometown fans can catch her at HQ on December 12, where she’ll share the stage with Melbourne emcee Illy, while a second show has been penciled in for December 20 at the Pirie Social Club.

Falls Festival-goers will also be pleased to know the up-and-comer has been named to be appear at all three of the event’s locations.
