The Fringe is around the corner! And boy, are we excited!
With the countless amount of shows on offer, every year brings the same damn question – what Fringe shows to watch??
Well, this year there is definitely one show that should be on the top of the cards.
In light of the recent devastating bushfires in Australia, Gluttony is presenting Fringe Aid, one massive Fringe show where all proceeds will be donated to organisations supporting South Australian communities affected by the bushfires.
For one session only on Sunday February 16 at 4pm and running for a total of 80 minutes, Fringe Aid will feature a variety of acts ranging from music to magic to comedy and even circus.
And the line-up includes some pretty big acts!
Get ready to witness some mind-blowing magic by award-winning magician, Matt Tarrant, be amazed by Rebel, a live circus rock tribute filled with acrobatics, aerials and lots of glitter, and boogie down with Choir of Man that will belt out their powerhouse vocals to your fave pop tunes, rock ballads and of course, the pub classics.
These acts will all come together to create a memorable show all in the hopes of raising money for bushfire relief in SA.
The best thing?? You can choose your ticket price from the options available, either $30, $50 or $80, so you can select how much you want to donate to the cause.
The organisations that Gluttony has chosen to donate to are the CFS Foundation, the South Australian Government’s SA Bushfire Appeal, the Kangaroo Island Mayoral Relief & Recovery Bushfire Fund, and SA Veterinary Emergency Management.
So, if you’re thinking what Fringe show should I go to this year? Kick things off with Fringe Aid to experience an epic variety of acts all for a good cause.
