Do you consider yourself a fried chicken connoisseur? Then get ready to prove your might as there is a 3-day food festival ENTIRELY dedicated to fried chicken coming to Adelaide in November. The best part? The festival has free entry. Cluck. Yeah.

The Fried Chicken Festival will include every type of fried chicken you can possibly imagine, from succulent wings to some classic chicken nuggets. The fest will include activities such as a pop-up video game arcade and numerous DJs will be performing over the 3-days. There will also be wing eating competitions if you’re feeling really keen.

Pirate Life Brewing and Riot Wine Co have signed on as vendors, providing The Clucking Bar with a variety of drinks to wash down the fried gold. Adelaide’s old fried chook mates, Nugg Lyf, are also involved and more vendors will be announced soon.

The Fried Chicken Festival will take place at the Morphettville Racecourse.

  • Friday 8th November 5 pm-11 pm
  • Saturday 9th November 11 am-11 pm*
  • Sunday 10th November 11 am-5 pm

*Saturday 9th entry between 11am-5pm is ticketed through Morphettville Racecourse due to Stakes Day Race Day and not free entry (tickets and prices will be available from Morphettville soon). However, entry after 5 pm on Saturday is free.
