Musitec’s TechJam Connected Music City Challenge is back for 2016!

The challenge once again initiates new music concepts that connect with technology, and is designed to ‘cluster’ people of different backgrounds and skill sets to create compelling city experiences using music and technology as tools. The theme of this year’s challenge is ‘digital play in musical spaces.’

Form a team and register for the challenge before September 30. You’ll have the chance to work with industry leaders at a Product Development Workshop, using the prototyping facilities available at AIE’s studios to develop tangible products. The challenge will conclude with a tradeshow style Judging Event, where winners will be awarded prizes from the likes of IBM, Adelaide City Council, AIE, Flinders NVI, St Paul’s Creative Centre, Musitec and more!

Suss the main challenge page here, and Musitec’s Facebook page here. Events start October 1st, including a prototyping weekend from AIE!

Winners will receive a number of prizes, including:

  • $2000 cash courtesy of Adelaide City Council;
  • Access to a choice of selected Certificate II courses thanks to the Academy of Interactive Entertainment;
