Fans of indie music, Music SA’s Scouted is coming back for its third year to show off some emerging but unsigned talented artists that we have hiding in the corners of South Australia.

Coinciding with Umbrella: Winter City Sounds and the national anumal Australian Independent Record Labels Association (AIR) award ceremony that Adelaide is hosting, the artists will get to perform in front of some major industry representatives, giving them the chance to get their careers off and running. So no pressure.

The festival will include Homeward Bound,  the hip-hop pairing Jimblah with vocalist Georgia Humphreys(Goji), Kenyan born soul singer ELSY, local rock group Wanderers, indie powerhouse trio Stacy Says, and pop-rock duo TOWNS.

Other artists announced include OC3ANEYESLocal Revolution, Pinkish BluThe Montreals and Ricky Albert & the Belair Line Band

“It is not very often that Adelaide artists get the opportunity to play live in front of music industry influencers based on the eastern seaboard,” says Music SA CEO Lisa Bishop. “Scouted is a wonderful way for us to show off the fantastic homegrown talent we have here in South Australia.”

Across some of Adelaide’s most iconic east end venues, 16 artists will perform over four stages at Crown and AnchorExeterThe Stag Public House, and Sugar. The Scouted mini-festival will take over Adelaide’s east end for one night only on Friday, July 26 kicking off at 6pm.
