As we continue to live in a time where upcoming blockbuster releases are getting delayed or being released exclusively online, why not tick off the old bucket list by watching some classic movies on the big screen?
All throughout August and September, Palace Nova will be screening a wide variety of classics in cinema from different eras, genres, and countries. Even two at the same time with their new Monday Doubles series!
- Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope (August 13th – 19th)
For an entire week, you’ll get the chance to watch Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope, the 1977 sci-fi classic that started it all! On Friday the 14th, Palace Nova Eastend will be doing a pre-film photo-op, so dress up in your best Jedi, Sith, or Wookie attire for a chance to win some prizes from Kollecta World.
Star Wars Episode 4: A New Hope is also playing at Event Cinemas, Wallis, and HOYTS throughout August 13th – 19th across South Australia.
- Inception 10th Anniversary Screening (August 15th)
Do we really live in a time where 2010 was 10 years ago?! As we have just passed the 10th anniversary of Inception, now seems to be as good of a time as any to rewatch Leonardo DiCaprio in Christopher Nolan’s mind-blowing classic this Saturday at 8:45 pm.
The 10th-anniversary Inception screening will also be playing never before seen footage of Christopher Nolan’s new movie, Tenet, which is expected to arrive on August 27th.
