Adelaide’s OzAsia Festival ignites the state for two jam-packed weeks, providing us South Aussies with an insight into Asian culture.

One of the many events on offer during this period (and one everybody loves) is the Lucky Dumpling Market located along the banks of the River Torrens.

But you better head down there quickly, because this foody extravaganza is set to end this Sunday 3rd November!!

Paying homage to one of the best foods on the planet (don’t argue with me on this one), the market will transport you to the streets of Asia, equipped with lanterns, lights and the aromas of oriental spices and flavours.

Dumplings are not the only delicious food on offer though, this is your chance to taste your way through Asia with a variety of Asian BBQ’s, curries, stir fries and fried chicken that will satisfy all your cravings.

Expect to see some of the very best Asian food vendors with Bao+ serving up scrumptious Taiwanese bao buns, Ragini’s Spice providing all things Indian and Humpty Dumplings and TMR Dumplings curing all our dumpling needs.

There will also be Asian-inspired desserts from Shibui Dessert Bar, as well as Vietnamese iced coffee (say no more), bubble tea, Japanese Sake, beer and a great variety of South Australian wines that is sure to quench everyone’s thirst.

Whilst soaking up the spring air and tucking into some hearty Asian foods, you will also be delighted by some free live music from a range of local and international artists as part of the QBE Outdoor Music Sessions. Expect to be serenaded by traditional Asian instruments paired with modern looping techniques, upbeat contemporary tunes, hip-hop beats, traditional Chinese music and heaps more.
