One of Australia’s leading Hip Hop producers can now add a Grammy gong to his mantelpiece. Melbourne’s M-Phazes has been steadily building his DJ and production career over the last few years and has created a strong and loyal following. This didn’t go unnoticed by the major players and eventually led to him supporting and working with arguably the scenes most important artist Eminem.
M-Phazes worked with Eminem and longtime collaborator S1 on track Bad Guy, a stand out track on Eminem’s MMLP2, the follow up to his legendary 2000 release the Martial Mathers LP which launched his career globally. MMLP2 won a Grammy for Best Rap Album at the 57th Grammy Awards. This win is bound to add to M-Phazes’ reputation as a quality producer and we can expect more great things to come from this Aussie export. You’ll be able to hear more of his work on tracks with Lupe Fiasco, Keyshia Cole & 2 Chainz, Kimbra, Daniel Johns, Luke Steele, Illy and more in the very near future.
