Are you someone who is finishing high school, uni or you’re just in need of a bit of guidance as you’re making that big transformation from a kid to an adult, especially during the pandemic?
Luckily, our old mates at the Sammy D Foundation are collaborating with the City of Marion and Future2 Foundation to bring the opening of two Adulting 101 courses for young people aged between 16 and 24!
Starting in late October, there will be 8 weekly 3-hour sessions that will provide young people with the opportunity to gain knowledge and skills around all topics to do with adulting, such as finance management, finding and keeping employment, meal planning and nutrition, self-care strategies and much more!
For the sessions, Sammy D Foundation Educators will also bring together some relevant guest speakers and professionals to help the learning commence.
Adulting 101 will start from Tuesday the 20th of October from 10 am to 1 pm and Thursday the 22nd of October from 5 pm to 8 pm at Westfield Marion.
