The Fringe is quickly coming to an end and if you haven’t seen a show yet or want to squeeze one more in, then this is definitely the show for you!
Now don’t be fooled, because this is not your typical circus. Of course, there are mind-blowing performances that leave you gobsmacked, but there is soooo much more!
Eight friends from Berlin, all top-class artists, musicians and acrobats, come together to put their skills to the test and bring you a show like no other.
Along with traditional circus tricks and stunts, they also play live music to accompany them. An electrifying guitar, banging drums that can change their sound to form techno beats, and a singer with a voice that is absolutely out of this world.
The live music really does make a difference to the circus experience and has the audience captivated at every second. You can feel every single bang of the drum move through your body, an intense experience you do not want to miss out on!
The hosts bring a playful sense of humour to the show, entertaining the audience with their witty jokes. One performer, who is a bit on the shorter side, is the brunt of most of the jokes (what’s new shorties) and will have you in absolute stitches! Be prepared though, he strips down to sparkly gold speedos in an attempt to plank high up in the air. That’s right, a plank. You know that thing that everyone used to do back in 2011?? Well, it’s coming back with a BANG.
What stands out in my eyes though, is that everyone’s skills are intertwined and the whole crew works together to produce every single act.
And better still, every performer brings an energy to the stage that is infectious. I think this is partly because of the informal vibes that they give off. They are so casual in the way they speak to the audience it’s like going out with a bunch of friends, complete with alcoholic shots on stage. I mean, say no more!
There are no fancy things, no bells and whistles to detract attention from their amazing raw talent. Its just everyday people doing crazy sh*t!
This show has a mix of everything – a live band, daring circus stunts, dancing, comedy and their own produced music, all accompanied by a mist of fog, vivacious lights and of course the all-important confetti – going from a show to a party.
