All you ’90s and noughties kids better get ready to ‘Eat, Sleep, Rave, Repeat’ as Fatboy Slim is touring across Australia early next year, landing in Adelaide in February!
The Australian tour is continuing Fatboy Slim’s enormous success this year, which included a seven-date sold-out UK arena tour which became some of the biggest and most immersive parties the UK has ever seen. The club sensation has since celebrated the 20th anniversary of ‘Right Here Right Now’ with a rework, ‘The Return To The Valley Of The Right Now‘.
Fatboy Slim, or Norman Cook, started off strong in the ’90s, with early success coming from ‘Everybody Needs a 303’ and ‘Going Out of My Head’. Soon after came ‘The Rockafeller Skank’, which lead to his album You’ve Come A Long Way Baby, bringing his first UK #1 in the always classic ‘Praise You’, as well as club banger ‘Right Here Right Now’, which peaked at #2.
When he reaches Adelaide, Fatboy Slim will be performing all his aforementioned classics, as well as bringing carefully designed visuals that will elevate an already stellar rave to an almost cathartic experience as he syncs up the live music and the visual accompaniments.
Supporting Fatboy Slim during the tour will be 2manydjs, the Belgian brothers formally known as Soulwax, as well as other supporting acts that will be announced soon.
Pre-sale tickets will be available through Telstra from Thursday 3rd October (11 am AEST) to Saturday 5th October (11 am AEST) and Zaccaria Concerts and Touring from Tuesday 8th October (10 am AEDT) to Wednesday 9th October (10 am AEDT). Tickets will go on sale to the general public from 10 am AEDT on Thursday 10th October.
Fatboy Slim will be performing on Glenelg Beach on Saturday the 1st of February from 2 pm to 10 pm.
But until then, make sure to practice your best Christopher Walken dancing (Yes, including the flying!).
