For the past few years, you’ve heard us mention the Decks and the City film a few times. Well, now you can rejoice! Decks and the City produced by Adelaide’s own Glen J Scrymgour and James Corbett is now out to rent or buy through iTunes and Vimeo on Demand.

With Adelaide often being forgotten by international touring artists, this film is a testament to the completely unique brand that has been built right in the heart of our city. Decks and the City also explores the history, the passions and the challenges facing the electronic music scene in Adelaide, which is particularly shown though the new age of lock out laws.

This film has been a long time in the making, with a manifold of interviews, hours of hard work and a kick starter campaign that raised over $11,000 to help us have an exciting insight into the Adelaide DJ community.

What’s even better is that Scrymgour and Corbett’s film features a 100% locally produced soundtrack, which is definitely something we should all get behind.

Decks and the City is an important look into Adelaide’s identity, and is certainly one not to miss! Check out the trailer below.
