Unless you’re living off the grid, I am going to safely assume that you’re all caught up on the Egg Boy drama.
For those who are under a rock, 17-year-old Will Connolly (aka Egg boy) smashed a raw egg on Queensland Senator Fraiser Anning’s head during a political meeting in Melbourne on Saturday. Anning fights back and hits Egg Boy, who still continues to film the reaction from his phone.
The egging comes after Anning released a statement putting Muslim immigration at fault for the terrorist attack on two mosques in Christchurch that resulted in 50 people dead and over 30 still in hospital.
Now praised as an Australian hero, Egg Boy has been receiving an influx of gifts, one including free tickets for life from Adelaide’s own Hilltop Hoods.
Egg Boy, you have free entry to any Hoods show for life should you wish.

The support didn’t stop there, with a massive array of artists also offering lifetime entry to their shows. The list includes Violent Soho, The Living End, Jebediah and The Amity Affliction.
On top of this, the memes flooding the internet have been next level.

And let’s not forget the remixes:
As for Anning’s future, his $200,000 a year job looks uncertain as more than a million people have signed a Change.Org petition to get him out of parliament. But, in the face of all this tragedy the world is facing, at least we have Egg Boy.
