Showcase South Australia and Glam Adelaide have come together to host a 2020 Bushfire Appeal Gala Dinner, with all proceeds going towards SA Bushfire Appeal.

As the ticket sales went live last Thursday, the 2020 Bushfire Appeal Gala Dinner has already smashed their fundraising target of $100,000! The money raised will help those who have unfortunately been affected by the fires, including Kangaroo Island and Cudlee Creek. Due to the overwhelming response of surpassing their original target, the Gala now has a new goal of raising $250K.

At the Gala, guests will get to wear black-tie attire, as well as having a delicious three-course meal that will celebrate SA produced food and locally brewed drinks. During the night, guests will also have the opportunity to purchase and win prizes through raffles and auctions on the night that will go towards bushfire relief.

“We have had overwhelming feedback from the community wanting to help or get involved in some way – it has been incredibly humbling to be at the coalface of people’s generosity at such a time of need – these people are really hurting and we hope we can make a difference,” says Co-Founder of Showcase South Australia, Kelly Noble.

The 2020 Bushfire Appeal Gala Dinner will be held at the Adelaide Convention Centre on Friday the 31st of January with a 7 pm arrival time.
