The Music Development Office for SA has opened nominations for the 2016 Stigwood Fellowship. To explain, the Fellowship, launched in 2014, is offered in conjunction with the State Government and Arts SA. It offers those lucky enough to receive it the opportunity to advance their career through tailor-made learning programs and mentoring. The program is made up of two parts; Industry Fellows and Artist Fellows each offering different opportunities and support.
This year Industry Fellows will get the opportunity to be mentored by Stuart MacQueen of boutique Australian music company Wonderlick Entertainment who will help educate music representatives in the art of entrepreneurship and artist support.
Artist fellows will learn through tailor-made programs in a range of areas including song writing, production, business skills, marketing, public relations and more.
Fellowship recipients will be joining the cream of Adelaide’s future music starts including Tkay Maidza, Oisima and Luke Million to name just a few so this really is a critical stepping stone on to a major career.
The closing date for applications is June 10th at 5pm so you’ll need to act quickly.
