RL Grime – Era
American DJ RL Grime has dropped a monster of a track called ‘Era’ this week, which has headphones and speakers thumping. RL Grime is well known artist with previous tracks such as ‘Stay For It Feat. Miguel’ (2017) and ‘Tell Me Feat. What So Not’ (2014) along with also being known for remixing tunes from Chris Brown to Drake. ‘Era’ is broken down into several parts; it kicks off with a cinematic like build up for a minute before the beat drops into a devastating trap sound and slowly builds up to drum and bass towards the final stages. Freshies who are fans of RL Grime can catch him headlining FOMO festival in Adelaide in January, this track is sure to get the mosh pit crowded and sweaty!
PNAU Feat. Kira Divine – Go Bang
You might as well be living under a rock if you haven’t heard of Sydney EDM trio PNAU who have been in everyone’s ear with their massive tune ‘Chameleon feat. Kira Divine’ (2016). They once again team up with New York vocalist Kira Divine to recreate magic with their new track ‘Go Bang’ which is the second track released for their upcoming album ‘Changa’ coming out in Nov. Once again PNAU combine with Kira to create a light and refreshing tune that is perfect for that Sunday chill session at home alone or with a few mates cracking a cold one. With PNAU signature bass-driven beats this tune is guaranteed to be a banger when the weather starts to heat up!
Martin Garrix, Matisse and Sadko –Forever
Some of Europe’s top DJ’s Martin Garrix (NED), and brother duo Matisse & Sadko (RUS) have released a new track titled ‘Forever”. Martin Garrix is no stranger to the EDM scene by topping DJ Mag’s top 100 DJ poll for the last two years along with hits such as ‘There For You Feat. Troy Sivan (2017) and ‘Forbidden Voices’ (2015). The new anthem takes listeners on a journey through Garrix’s signature melodies, trance sounds and powerful lead riffs. Proving that you only need a few elements to create a polished sound which showcases the production level of these top DJ’s. This track is a certified future classic.
Vassy and Afrojack Feat. Oliver Rosa – Lost
Straddling the line between EDM and Pop banger, Darwin native singer/producer Vassy has found her new partners in crime to conquer the music world, teaming up with Dutch DJ’s Afrojack and Oliver Rosa to drop some heat with her new track ‘Lost’. With big collabs under her belt such as David Guetta, and now combining with well-known EDM DJ Afrojack Vassy is on track to take over. Like mention before the new track ‘Lost’ traverse the pop and dance realms; while remaining very emotive and progressive at the core. The track catches fire with Vassy’s warm vocals only to see ti fizzle out by the infectious piano chord and well-crafted builds along with an exception production level. ‘Lost’ is a track that you can lose yourself in. certified tune!
Sigma Feat. Quavo and Sebastian Kole – Forever
To finish off we have British drum and bass duo Sigma who have released their new track ‘Forever’ featuring Qauvo (Migos) & singer Sebastian Kole. Sigma has had a busy summer over in Europe, performing to 400, 000 fans at the Royal Albert Music Halls and a string of festival performances. With previous hits ‘Stay’ (2016) and ‘Nobody To Love’ (2016). Their new track ‘Forever’ featuring Quavo from hot hip-hop group Migos is a step forward for the duo. The trap infused track along with fresh vocals from Quavo and Kole is perfect for setting off a party or just riding around the city with your windows down. It’s a feel good track that put the listeners in a good mood and in the zone to have a good time!
