Canada is known having some of the friendliest people on earth and amazing ski resorts! What you don’t know is that Canada also has an amazing Hip Hop scene that is slowly taking centre stage, one of Canada’s top hip hop talents Lou Phelps has teamed up with fellow rapper Jazz Cartier to give you his new track ‘Come Inside’ which is produced by his brother and producer extraordinaire Kaytranada. We’ve come to expect fire beats with Kaytranada, with his production on ‘All Night’ (Chance the Rapper) and ‘Meditation’ (Goldlink). ‘Come Inside’ is no different with groovy electronic beats accompanied by the smooth flow of Lou Phelps and Jazz Cartier. From first listen you can hear this song being played at banging house parties with its summery atmosphere and infectious beat that will have you hooked.
What So Not Feat. Winona Oak – Beautiful
Sydney DJ/producer is giving fans a teaser of his new tour (Adelaide, June 22) for his anticipated debut album ‘Beautiful Things’ that will drop on March 9 with his third single of the album ‘Beautiful’ featuring Swedish new comer Winona Oaks. With previous bangers such as ‘Stuck In Orbit Feat BOUY’ and ‘Be Okay Again Feat. Daniel Johns’. The new single was born in the jungle, written while What So Not was in Nicaragua, this where he also met Winona Oak who brought his track to life with her amazing pop vocals. The so goes again the grain of traditional pop and dance modes which usually feature big choruses, instead he drags the listener down to earth with an anti-chorus that weaves it into the second verse then explodes to give you the heart of track.
Joel Fletcher – Where’s the Love
Multi – platinum selling Melbourne DJ/producer Joel Fletcher continues to show you his growth into a fully fledge artist and song writer his new single ‘Where’s The Love’. With successful hits already under his belt such as ‘Smooth Operator’ (With Tyron Hapi and Bianca) and ‘Embers’ (With Tyron Hapi and Bianca). Joel’s new pop tinged single was written in Amsterdam while he was on his European tour; the single is laced with sunny uplifting vibes that will have you feeling blissful in the summer heat. Felix Jaehn Feat. Marc E. Bassy & Gucci Mane – Cool
Young German DJ Felix Jaehn is a rising star who is gaining tracks within the industry, with his debut album ‘How So? I’ arriving February 16 he teases audiences with what’s to come with his new single ‘Cool’. The single features well known pop musician Marc. E Bassy and controversial rapper Gucci Mane. With his new album still yet to be released the verdict is still pending on the young new artists. His single ‘Cool’ on the other hand is bright, sunny and smooth. The percussive beat accompanied by synth horns give the track a tropical feel. The smooth track is so complimented by soulful pop vocals from Marc E. Bassy and given an edge with the southern rap style of Gucci Mane. With a solid first single ‘Cool’ his new debut album should be one to look out for.

Finally we go across the pond to English DJ/producer Chris Lake who has teamed up with American singer Alexis Roberts release his latest single ‘Turn of The Lights’. Chris has been a busy man launching his very own record label Black Book Records last year. Chris has had success with noticeable hits like ‘Nothing Better’ (with Chris Lorenzo), One of the main column of the Dance industry, Chris Lake’s accolades include several Billboard chart-toppers, a platinum record and a Grammy nomination. His new single showcases his signature house sound and vibey percussion elements create a well crafted track while the vocals mix perfectly with the percussive house sound. This track is a certified banger and a track that all lovers of house should be listening to right now!
