Kat Leese

At the tender age of 15 I knew I wanted to pave the way for a career in radio so what better way to kick start it I joined FRESH! You have to do some hard yards first, I worked in the reception area as much as I can and then lucky enough I got my first show doing Saturday mornings from 9-11. I did a long stint of 3.5 years with Mike (aka Megabyte) and then took over the ranks by myself currently doing 11-1 still on Saturdays and Friday night drive shift Kaboom 4-6pm .

I have served on the board of Directors twice first at 17 as secretary and then served out my term as Vice President in September of 2010. From leaving the board as one of my ongoing commitments I created a sub committee called Community Spirit which focuses on our community of interest the youth of Adelaide! This committee’s duty is to service the youth in all areas that relate to our demographic. I have been with the station now for 9 years and

Fresh has been one of the most positive, fun, challenging and exciting aspects of my life. I love it and wouldn’t leave it for the world!
