You may remember back in Feb we let you all know about the I Love Music 60 Second Film Competition which gave budding film makers the chance to show their skills by producing a short film about or around live music. Well, the huge number of entries was whittled down to just 10 amazing shorts which were all screened at the SoundKILDA event in Melbourne just last week. There was some tough competition with a truly high standard of movie making and content/subject matter but ultimately only one could win and the top spot eventually went to Sari Braithwaite’s Live from Kingsbury Bowls.

If you’d like to judge just how good the short films were you can check them all out on the Australian Music Industry Network’s (AMIN) youtube channel and we’ll leave you with Sari’s touching tribute to a local community’s live music scene as well as top 10 entry You Can’t Download This to get you started.
