Now, we know that the first thing that springs to mind when you think about Fresh 92.7 radio DJs is ‘olympic level sporting prowess’, we know this because we think it too. So what better way for us to use these amazing talents than to take part in the Reclink Community Cup? The cup pits that other group of international level sporting elites ‘musicians’ against the very best media personalities around in a day of fun, sports, drinks and community action in order to raise finds for Reclink.

Reclink are an awesome non-profit  organisation who raise funds and provide and promote sport and art programs for people experiencing disadvantage. They’ve been running for over 25 years and offer  3,800 activities and 58,000 participation opportunities for disadvantaged Australians annually. So we think you’d agree, it is a really worthy cause plus, it’ll be heaps of fun.

The action will be going down on August 7th at Coopers Stadium where the Fresh crew will be joined by our pals from 3D and roomies at Radio Adelaide to create the ultimate media footie Dream Team the Anchors to take on the musicians team in a charity battle royale. This is the second year the event has been held in Radelaide. Sadly we lost to the musical Rockatoos last years so we need to settle the score but we won’t be able to do it without your support so come on down and spend the day watching your fave chicken legged radio jocks smash those musical types. There’ll be music from Shoalin Afronauts and Slick Arnold, it’s just $5 entry (or gold coin donations for kids) and Ryley will be there in his cheerleading outfit.
