How many Fringe Shows have you been to, where you can not only score yourself free beer, but also a personal serenade to boot?

Welcome to the Jungle!
No, I’m NOT referring to Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson’s abysmal remake of the classic Jumanji, but rather, the humble pub in which 2018 Adelaide Fringe Debut Choir of Man is based.

Performing for the first time outside their hometowns, these nine talented, strapping young lads from the UK will have you humming along, tapping your toes, and grinning like a complete loser – or is that just me?

Choir of Man is a music lover’s dream – which, as a Freshie, I know you are 😉 Effortlessly weaving between verses both spoken and sung, expect an expansive array of smash hits, including Avicii’s Wake Me Up, Pina Colada performed with a mop(!?), and the best use of steins I’ve seen in a long time! And best of all, if you’re lucky, these super friendly lads will even pour you a pint! (#win)

Choir of Man is playing The Flamingo at Gluttony, every night until March 18. Grab your tickets from here.

Verdict:

Come for the beer, stay for the tunes.
